The overall game play is about three or four times as long as that of the earlier Shrek films. The graphics are fairly basic but fit the theme of Shrek (and of course the 3 films). The controls are simple and don't have any complicated moving parts. Like most things related to Shrek the Third (and the first two films as well) the game is very easy to pick up and to master. This is basically a platform game in which you play as Shrek and run through the different levels trying to save the princess from the clutches of the evil king. He lives with his two loyal buddies Donkey (voiced by Eddie Murphy), Princess Fiona (Cary Elwes) and Lord Farquaad (Peter Shaffer). Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) is an ogre who live in the green world of Shrek (a fantasy world) and is an absolute green. Shrek The Third is an all-out action, adventure video game released for the xBox in fall 2007.
